NSYSU offers workshops and exchange programs for new faculty members. Also, at the beginning of each school year, the Office of Academic Affairs compiles information about the entire school and provides it to new teachers so that they can better understand their rights and responsibilities when they first arrive. The information consists of four parts: Faculty Information, Rights and Responsibilities, Incentives and Subsidies, and Living Resources. The "Rights and Responsibilities" section includes regulations on salary assessments and re-classification, promotion, part-time teaching, sabbatical leave and leave of absence, etc. The "Incentives and Subsidies" section lists all the school-level incentives and subsidies, and is very comprehensive. New teachers are recommended to refer to it.
