JKU Double Degree Program (ACT Extension)
University Introduction
Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) is a public university in Linz, Austria. The university offers bachelor's, master's, diploma, and doctoral degree programs in a wide range of fields, including business and economics, engineering, law, natural sciences, social sciences, and medicine.
JKU is a long-standing partner of the NSYSU College of Management. The two institutions have collaborated on the double degree program since 2014 under the framework of the ACT Global Business Program.
Program Introduction
The JKU Double Degree Program is an extension of the ACT Global Program at the College of Management. The College of Management and Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) established the double degree cooperation in 2014. Students participating in the program are required to complete the ACT Global Program and fulfill the thesis and other graduation requirements of both institutions in order to obtain the respective degrees.
To provide more College of Management students with opportunities to participate in the double degree program, the program was expanded in 2018 to include students from the GHRM MBA Program and the Department of Business Management. In 2026, students from the Department of Information Management, Department of Finance, and Institute of Human Resource Management were also included.
Admission and Requirement for NSYSU Students
- Applicants must be master's students in one of the following programs at the College of Management: IBMBA, GHRM MBA, Business Management, Information Management, Finance, or Human Resource Management. Applicants must participate in the ACT Global Business Program and successfully complete all required courses
- Language Requirement: TOEFL iBT 90 or IELTS overall score of 6.5 (no band below 6.0).
- Quota: Up to 10 students per year.
- Students must fulfill all graduation requirements of both NSYSU and JKU, including the master's thesis requirements.
